Siddaju
Siddaju, Nebbiolo hills of Limbara, Typical Geographical Indication
At the foot of Mount Limbara, made from Nebbiolo grapes, comes this wine with a deep ruby-red colour with violet tones. The aroma opens with pleasant fruity sensations, where blackberry and blackcurrant jam prevails, leaving space for notes of chocolate and tobacco. The wine is soft on the palette, dense and elegant where tannin is well-balanced by alcohol and acidity, and leave an endlessly pleasurable final note. It is a wine which, thanks to the long fermentation of the grapes and the following ageing in oak barrels, stores well for a long time in the bottle. Ideal to accompany red meat dishes, game and aged cheeses. Best served at 18-20°C.
